Prof.dr. Liu Mengjun, Doctor Honoris Causa of USAMV Bucharest

Thursday, 11th of October, Prof.dr. Liu Mengjun, the Dean of the College of Horticulture, Hebei Agricultural University, received the highest academic title: Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest. The title was awarded for the outstanding contribution and remarcable results on the Chinese jujube research and promotion, and for the development of the scientific cooperation and friendship between Romania and China.

The ceremony was held with the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the Faculty of Horticulture of Bucharest and 125 Anniversary of the Research Fruit and Viticulture Stations of Istrita and respectively, Pietroasa.

Prof. Liu Mengjun is the Co-Director of the two China-Romania Joint Key Research Laboratories in Baoding and Bucharest.
